List of 140+ Most Profitable Affiliate Marketing Niches

1. Golf

golf niche

This probably doesn’t come as a surprise to anyone who’s been in the affiliate marketing game for more than a few months, but golf is one of these very lucrative markets (you will find that most markets related to luxury tend to be profitable affiliate niches).

The global golf industry is worth an estimated $12.55 billion per year.

The average golfer spends approximately £214 (US$275) per month or £2,568 (US$3,305) per year on their hobby. While it might seem like an elitist pastime, it’s played by people from all walks of life.

They all share one very common trait — they’re happy to spend whatever they can afford to improve their game.

Yes, golf can be a competitive niche, but I was still able to find 149,000 phrases in Ahrefs with a KD score of no more than 20, which makes it one of the best niches for affiliate marketing in 2024.

It’s also relatively easy to gain traction by creating free tips & training content.

The demand for technical knowledge is here, and most sites don’t do a great job at it.

2. Home Security

Home Security niche

I never took home security all that seriously until quite recently. But that changed when my house was broken into a little over two years ago. Having your home broken into is a really icky experience, by the way.

Home security became an instant priority for me because my girlfriend was afraid to go to sleep at night. I invested in new internal and external locks, window security latches, Wi-Fi cameras, exterior motion sensor lights, and a monitored home alarm system with multiple internal sensors.

In short, I dropped the best part of a grand to make sure she felt secure again. And that’s one thing that makes excellent affiliate marketing niches: the feeling of urgency.

1.64 million homes are broken into each year in the United States, so that’s a laser-focused audience that needs your help.

3. Dating

Online Dating niche

It’s funny how far the online dating industry has come in the last two decades.

It’s one niche for affiliate marketing that’s been there since the beginning.

Once upon a time, anyone who used it to find a partner was seen as being a bit…well…weird. Times have changed, though, and online dating isn’t just acceptable – it’s cool!

So, how much is the dating industry actually worth?

The most recent estimate says US$2 billion per year, and growth of 6% per year is predicted for the foreseeable future. The same data also shows that at least 24% of people use online dating sites or have used them.

This industry has become so profitable because humans are social animals, regardless of what people might believe. We yearn to be part of a tribe and eventually start a tribe of our own.

Helping single men and women achieve that primal life goal can be one of the most lucrative affiliate niches once you know the best programs to promote.

Dating Affiliate Programs

4. Travel

Travel niche

It’s a big old world out there, and the overabundance of cheap flights means you can visit even the most distant shores without winning the lottery. Okay, you might have to travel economy class and give up the luxury of business class, but that’s a small price to pay.

People are traveling now more than they ever have before in human history.

The travel industry is estimated to have US$7 trillion (yes, with a “t”) pass through its hands each year. That means it’s one of the largest affiliate niches in existence, and there are plenty of lucrative programs out there to help you do that.

It’s also the second-most profitable affiliate niche. Our affiliate marketing statistics show that the average travel affiliate earns $13,847 per month.

Travel covers many potential niches and sub-niches, from the usual hotels and flights to city tours, luggage, insurance, and clothing. So you don’t need to take the same bull-headed approach as most affiliates, i.e., trying to sling cheap flights and hotels.

Travel Affiliate Programs

5. Gaming

Gaming niche

The gaming audience has expanded now to include not only consoles but also mobile devices. Mobile is significant in the affiliate business.

Roughly 200 million people in North America alone play video games, but that’s a drop in the ocean compared to the estimated 2.5 billion gamers worldwide.

Gaming is a similar niche to golf in that the average gamer is happy to spend several hundred dollars on a new GPU or gaming chair and repeat that process every year.

There’s almost a luxury segment with infinite demand in that market.

The gaming niche is generally one of the more competitive affiliate marketing niches. However, I could still find 25,919 keywords with a KD score of no more than 20. Plus, there are multiple gaming niches and an ever-growing demand in this category.

Gaming Affiliate Programs

6. Home Decor

home decor niche

Home décor is one of those evergreen niches worth a serious look.

Why?

Well, because people are either decorating their home to sell it or are renovating a house or apartment they’ve just bought.

People spend an average of between $500 and $5,000 on decorating or renovating each room in their homes.

What about recessions?

It’s the same deal, but to a lesser extent—walls need to be painted, sofas need to be replaced, etc. However, homeowners will want to do it as cheaply as possible during a recession, which is a sub-niche in and of itself (but I do like the luxury segment, too).

This affiliate niche also offers between $100 and $200 per sale, depending on the product category.

Home DĂ©cor Affiliate Programs

7. Financial

Financial niche

Yes, we’re actually listing the finance niche as being profitable, because it inherently is. We’ve also included it here because most new affiliate marketers avoid it because they assume it’s a saturated niche.

It is competitive, but it’s also far easier than making money from adult content, for example. In our article on successful affiliate marketing websites, you can see several examples of affiliates making serious money in this niche.

They’re proof that you really only need a unique angle and to be prepared to work hard.

Long story short, people are taking on as much debt as they ever have, so there’s a massive market for the products and services we’ve identified for you.

So, if you can make it work, it’s one of the best niches for affiliate marketing, but you should be a veteran if you are considering this category.

Financial Affiliate Programs

8. Cruises

Cruises niche

Growing up, I used to think that only really rich people went on cruises.  And maybe that was true once upon a time, but it’s not anymore.

Here’s a statistic to chew on – somewhere in the region 26 million people go on a cruise each year. Those same people will spend $3,600 per head on vacation on the high seas.

Which all adds up to an industry worth around US$125 billion per year.

People from all walks of life take cruises, and some cruises cater to everything from singles to rock music fans.

One tip is to find a sub-niche within this one and/or focus on the thousands of informational keywords with very low KD scores. With the right approach, this can be a very lucrative niche.

Cruise Affiliate Programs

9. Fitness

Fitness niche

This is another evergreen niche that you can be 99% sure will be around 50 years from now.

That’s because the fitness industry has been active for about 4,000 years, give or take.

Most ancient empires insisted that young men undergo physical training, usually for combat, but you also have to factor in the first ancient Olympic Games, which took place around 2,700 years ago.

Anyway, our point is that getting and staying fit has always been part of living a healthy life.

It’s also why the fitness industry is worth US$3.7 trillion per year.

The really good news is that you can make a lot of money with an online business by traveling the road less followed in this affiliate niche. You’ll see what we mean when you check out the programs we found for you.

Fitness Affiliate Programs

10. Music

Music niche

Millions of potential new musicians are born each year, and by the time they’re six years old, 28% of them will be studying a musical instrument

That rises to over 40% among 14-year-olds.

And that’s without considering the growing number of people who take up a musical instrument much later in life.

What we’re driving at here is that many people either play musical instruments or want to.

You can position offers in front of them that they’d be happy to pay for.

But that’s the problem with the music niche – actually, profitable programs can be hard to find.

So that’s what we did, and some of these programs offer up to $35 per sale.

I also like this niche because it’s one of those evergreen affiliate marketing niches. You can create small sites that will make money for years, giving you that actual passive income feel you might be looking for in internet marketing.

There are many small niche site ideas to brainstorm in this broad niche.

Music Affiliate Programs

11. Weight Loss

Weight Loss niche

Helping people lose weight can be one of the best ways to make money online.

Especially considering that a frightening percentage of children and adults are now classified as morbidly obese.

In short, people know deep down that being overweight isn’t healthy.

That’s also why so many people are looking for ways to shed those pounds with an easy-to-follow diet.

But remember that most people in these niches are now skeptical of diets and drinks that promise magical weight loss figures.

Instead, they’re looking for a program to lose and keep weight off.

This means you could combine the research from this niche with the data from the fitness niche above.

Either way, consumers spend US$60 billion each year in this category to lose weight.

Weight Loss Affiliate Programs

12. Real Estate

Real Estate niche

There’s a finite amount of habitable land on this planet of ours.

A limited resource has a higher market value; in other words, real estate will never devalue to zero.

Yes, recessions and depressions can come along and devalue it.

But — almost without exception — real estate prices recover to at least their pre-recession values.

Some 5 million homes change hands each year in a market with an overall value of almost US$30 trillion.

So there is always demand.

The money to be made here is within sub-niches, like the FSBO craze of a decade ago, the luxury segment, or any other niche market.

Basically, there’s little point in you trying to compete with Zillow or Trulia in their own category.

But you can focus on the thousands of informational queries (how to, what is, etc) with surprisingly low KD scores for such competitive markets.

We’ve compiled a list of offers so you can find the best affiliate program for your needs in this market:

Real Estate Affiliate Programs

13. Debt Settlement

Debt Settlement niche

Many people carry a lot of debt they can’t discharge or write down.

For example, the United States currently has US$829 billion of credit card debt.

Most people hate debt, so they constantly look for solutions to that problem.

And where you find problem/solution scenarios, I can guarantee you’ll find the opportunity to make money online in several sub-niche markets of debt settlement.

In this case, it’s via debt consolidation, credit score, and social finance offers.

And there are affiliate programs in this niche with payouts of $50, $100, and $150 per lead.

Debt Settlement Affiliate Programs

14. Sports

Sports niche

Ah, sports fans – people willing to part with unhealthy amounts of money to enjoy their hobby.

Sometimes, that’s just as a spectator and not a participant.

There’s nothing wrong with that, especially not from an affiliate’s perspective.

But we know that you know it will be difficult to make serious cash selling jockstraps and shoelaces.

That’s why we’ve compiled some really cool sports affiliate programs, including all the usual stuff, like clothing and training equipment, for different sports niche markets.

And some very cool sports memorabilia, services, and hydration affiliate programs.

All of these can lead to healthy profits for your business as an affiliate marketer.

Sports Affiliate Programs

15. Yoga

Yoga niche

It wasn’t long ago that anyone who wanted to study real yoga would have to pack their bags and travel to an ashram in India.

The demand is so high these days that you can find multiple yoga schools in any city or large town.

Yoga is now more popular than ever because people are desperately looking for a way to decompress, find a little bit of inner peace, or exercise to complement their diet.

Your job is to connect them with products and services that enhance their yoga experience.

The programs we found are a pretty cool mixture, including subscription box service, yoga mats, and training programs.

Yoga Affiliate Programs

16. Airlines

Airlines

We’re big fans of evaluating a niche before investing time and money in building an authority site around it.

So, when we looked into the airline travel industry, it piqued our interest.

And by piqued, we mean surprised the hell out of us.

Did you know that there’s US$2.1 million per minute spent on airline travel in the United States alone?

Air travel has become a lot cheaper, so people are doing it more often, both for personal and business reasons.

Just bear in mind that the profit margins in this industry are wafer-thin.

So this means there are lots of affiliate commissions to be made, but they top out at around $25 per sale.

Airlines Affiliate Programs

17. Coffee

Coffee niche

Did you know that the average person drinks at least 3 cups of coffee every day?

Which costs them $9 per day or $180 per month.

But that’s just what they spend on their 9-5 coffees.

You could almost say coffee is a luxury at this point.

Now, if you factor in that they might own a home coffee grinder and/or percolator, as well as order unique blends of coffee, you’ll begin to understand why the US coffee category is worth almost US$75 billion per year.

Coffee is just part of our everyday diet, and people can be pretty passionate about it.

Or insane, depending on how long it has been since they had caffeine.

So, do them a favor and help them find some of the tastiest coffee on the planet via these affiliate programs.

Coffee Affiliate Programs

18. Makeup

Makeup niche

One of the actual tricks to making money online is finding a niche that stays profitable through good times and bad.

A niche where people spend money even if they’re effectively broke.

Cosmetics and beauty are perfect examples of this type of niche—sales actually increase during an economic downturn.

An average person wants to feel good about their appearance, especially if they can’t afford to do anything else.

People will spend money on these creature comforts even when they’re broke.

Now, you could easily argue that people shop for makeup locally, so there’s hardly any point in promoting it online.

But the programs we’ve tracked down for you to promote prove otherwise.

Makeup Affiliate Programs

19. Photography

Photography niche

You might think you don’t know enough about photography to run an affiliate site.

The thing is, the majority of photographers are amateurs or hobbyists.

So, you don’t need to be an award-winning photographer to have a voice in this niche.

Second, a number of bloggers have built an entire affiliate marketing business around their photography blogs.

Don’t believe us?

Google a guy named Joshua Dunlop.

Another perk of operating in this niche is that photographers don’t hesitate to spend several hundred dollars on a new camera.

All you need are the right products and services to promote, which you’ll find below.

Photography Affiliate Programs

20. Supplements

Supplements niche

You might have noticed a little trend in the niches we’ve listed.

Hint: Several of them are related to health and diet or luxury in one form or another.

And the supplement niche is just another example of that.

The stereotypical image of a supplement user is of somebody chugging protein shakes.

But this niche is way more nuanced than that, especially when it comes to nootropics or what people refer to as “smart drugs.”

This industry is worth at least US$120 billion per year and is set to double in size within a decade.

And let’s not forget that health supplements exist for pets, too, doubling the market again.

If you want to find the perfect affiliate program to build a profitable affiliate site in that niche, check the list we compiled for you.

21. Insurance

 Insurance niche

If you think about it, selling insurance is an odd niche – you’re selling somebody financial protection against something that might happen.

But the insurance company pockets the profits if the worst doesn’t happen.

That also explains why the North American insurance industry is worth US$1.2 trillion per year.

But people are happy to pay the premiums because the average cost of even a minor car accident is around $7,500.

Yikes!

The neat part about the insurance niche is that you can break it down into sub-categories like automotive, homeowners, health, life, travel, pet, etc.

There’s even volcano insurance.

Yes, that’s a real thing.

To promote an insurance affiliate program to an existing audience, you only need to use a little lateral thinking.

Insurance Affiliate Programs

22. Jewelry

Jewelry niche

This niche is a no-brainer.

People love buying jewelry, jewelry costs money, therefore there’s money to be made.

Consumers from all walks of life spend an average of US$300 billion every year on watches, rings, bracelets, etc.

And that’s the main point to emphasize here – jewelry isn’t just something for “rich” people.

Bling makes people feel good.

Now, most jewelry is purchased as a gift for somebody else, but roughly 30% of all jewelry sold internationally comes from online sales made by affiliates.

So, even though there are jewelry shops in almost every city, people still shop online.

Go figure.

This is good news for you, especially considering there are offers that pay an average commission of $900 per sale.

That’s not a typo. Find the perfect affiliate program in the jewelry niche on the page below:

Jewelry Affiliate Programs

23. Automotive

Cars & Auto niche

Some niches might not exactly get your heart racing, no pun intended.

But if you’re a petrolhead, then this is the perfect niche for you — it combines something you care about with the ability to earn a full-time income from related programs.

The range of offers we found was pretty diverse, covering everything from motorcycles and muscle cars to golf carts.

But you’ll find out more about them when you follow the link below:

Auto Affiliate Programs

24. Baby Products

Baby Products niche

If you’re not sure whether or not the baby niche is for you, then here’s something to think about:

In the time it took you to read this, 20 children were born.

Don’t believe us?

Check out the world population clock, and you’ll see this is very much a growth market.

There’s that, and the fact is that most new parents will drop around $10,000 in caring for their new baby in the first year of its life.

How many niches can you think of where people are morally obliged to spend money on something?

Exactly.

Baby Products Affiliate Programs

25. Bitcoin and Cryptos

 Bitcoin And Cryptocurrency niche

I genuinely admire the way cryptocurrencies have helped disrupt the FIAT currency markets.

Because they needed to be disrupted.

And even though you’ve all seen Bitcoin rise and then completely face-plant, cryptocurrencies are here to stay.

For example, Bitcoin has rallied pretty impressively over the last six months or so.

That means the “craze” is far from over, so you’ll still be an early adopter if you start publishing in this niche as soon as possible.

We’ve identified programs for you that our competitors have completely overlooked.

Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency Affiliate Programs

26. Casino

Casino niche

But… isn’t the casino industry just insanely and stupendously competitive?

Yes and no.

“Yes,” it can be difficult to get backlinks to sites about gambling.

But “No,” this niche isn’t as competitive as people say.

We tracked down 38,131 long-tail keywords in Ahrefs with a KD score of 10 or less and an additional 768 “Questions” with a KD score of 10 or less.

That’s just an example.

You need to factor in that gambling has been around literally forever, probably since the first caveman grunted, “Bet Thrakk can’t outrun tiger with huge teeth over there.

Casino Affiliate Programs

27. CBD

CBD niche

I don’t think anyone really expected cannabis to be made legal as quickly or to the extent it has.

Now, CBD-based products are not quite the same thing because they lack the THC (Tetrahydrocannabinol) component that gets you high.

Instead, what the CBD industry is focused on are the health benefits available to humans and animals through ingesting cannabidiol products.

It seems to have pretty much cured my dog’s arthritis, for example – that’s not medical advice, just my personal experience.

Because we don’t want to get sued, do we?

The CBD industry is worth about US$18 billion as of the time of this writing, and steady growth is predicted for at least the next decade.

CBD Affiliate Programs

28. Christian

Christian niche

If you’ve read anything by Sam Harris, Christopher Hitchens, or Richard Dawkins, you could easily assume that the Christian faith is in decline.

The opposite is actually true, with many people who were once atheists reconsidering their options, so to speak.

As of right now, there are 2.4 billion Christians on this planet, so you have a massive market to tap into.

But what on Earth could you possibly sell to Christians?

How about movie streaming services, gifts, home decor, clothing,, and even arts and crafts with a Christian slant?

Christian Affiliate Programs

29. Investing

Investing

Relax, you don’t need to be Warren Buffet to publish content in the investment niche.

The majority of investors are relatively new and looking for advice on how to get started.

That’s because most people have nothing invested or saved for their retirement – they need a solution to their problem.

So you won’t suffer from impostor syndrome…too much.

We’ve found some really neat investment affiliate offers for you, including the usual stuff like stock portfolios and real estate, precious metals, and peer-to-peer crypto loans.

Some of them pay up to US$70 per lead.

Investing Affiliate Programs

30. Luxury

Luxury niche

This is a niche in and of itself, but it’s also a great way to identify sub-niches or tangential ones.

So, if you have a blog or website that targets an affluent audience, then these programs are ideal for you.

But this list of affiliate offers is also useful for anyone who’s struggling to find a niche.

One that’s not quite mainstream but is most definitely lucrative.

like mattresses, which pay over $300 per sale, or private jet hire companies, which pay upwards of $3,000 per lead.

And that’s just a random sampling of what you’ll find listed.

Luxury Affiliate Programs

31. Organic Products

Organic Products niche

The “green” industry is worth an estimated US$4 trillion per year.

That figure encompasses everything from solar power to recycled toilet paper- people are willing to spend money to ease their environmental conscience.

Right now, the “green” movement is more of a “raving fan” audience than it has been since the 1970s.

So that makes it perfect for promoting organic products, too.

That doesn’t mean you’ll be selling them mail-order quinoa though.

There’s far more exciting stuff for you to promote, including beauty products.

Organic Products Affiliate Programs

32. Pet

Pet

I’m a dog owner, so I know just how far other pet owners are willing to go to care for their furry friends.

(Well, my dog adopted me, but that’s another story about learning what really matters in life.)

In my case, that’s totaled thousands of euros just for her health, including two surgeries.

That explains why the pet market in the United States is worth at least US$70 billion per year.

You can 2x that for an approximate figure of the international market is worth.

This can be a competitive affiliate niche, but there’s still plenty of space for new affiliate publishers passionate about pets.

Pet Affiliate Programs

33. Solar

Solar niche

A friend recently went 100% off-grid and no longer has to pay for electricity.

I’ve become almost obsessed with this idea since he told me.

So, I’m working to implement as much solar as possible in my home.

I’m not alone, either. The solar industry is worth around US$400 billion per year.

You can promote everything from solar chargers for mobile devices to full solar power systems for residential homes.

Solar Affiliate Programs

34. Vegan

Vegan niche

I’m not a vegan, nor will I ever be one, but it’s hard to ignore the impact of these words:

“The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated.” — Gandhi

Vegetarianism has been around for a long time, but veganism has only been a lifestyle choice since the 1800s.

There’s been a huge push towards veganism to help prevent the climate change you’ve heard about via social media.

This is also why there are now 6x as many vegans in the United States as there were just a decade ago.

The plant-based food industry will be worth over US$20 billion within the next decade.

But there’s much more to promote to the vegan niche market than just food – like beauty, health supplements, and more.

Vegan Affiliate Programs

35. Nutrition

 Nutrition niche

Another  “healthy” niche that’s caught our collective eye is nutrition.

As part of the truly massive health and wellness industry, nutrition is estimated to be worth US$700 billion.

There is a definite trend towards people being far more aware of the food they eat.

People are now willing to spend more if they eat healthier and more nutritious meals.

This applies to both eating out and at home, leaving this market wide open to the numerous subscription box companies serving it.

And they’re just the tip of the iceberg regarding the offers and programs you can promote.

Nutrition Affiliate Programs

36. Marijuana

Marijuana niche

You’ve gotta love how much affiliate marketing can change in a few years.

Like how marijuana affiliate programs are now a thing.

And a very profitable thing at that — you’re looking at a market worth US$63 billion.

The programs listed include supplies and accessories like vaporizers, grow tents, and soil to the different types of seeds you can promote.

Cannabis will continue to be legalized in different states of the union and countries around the world.

So this is most definitely a growth market.

That’s the worst pun ever.

On a serious note, being an early adopter here could put you in a position to earn retirement money faster than you could with almost any other niche.

Marijuana Affiliate Programs

37. Personal Development

Personal Development niche

We all want to be the best possible version of ourselves.

Who doesn’t want to be smarter, stronger, less distracted, more at peace, wealthier, have a better job, or just more free time?

Maybe not all at once, but I’m sure you can relate to at least one of the above as a personal goal…you’ve yet to achieve.

Basically, we know we can do better…and we want to.

And that’s why the personal development niche is worth an estimated US$13 billion per year.

People are more than happy to splash some cash on a personal development program that works.

All you need to do is hook them up with the best ones you can find.

Personal Development Affiliate Programs

38. Essential Oils

Essential Oils niche

Here’s a somewhat tangential health niche that you probably:

  1. I didn’t think there was any money in or
  2. Assumed was absolutely saturated

Not so, dear readers. Not so.

The essential oils niche is currently experiencing both a growth spurt and a surge in popularity.

A lot of this has to do with people looking for alternative ways to treat their health challenges.

That’s why the market is predicted to double in value to at least US$27 billion within the next few years.

It is more valuable than the online dating niche by a factor of 3x.

Thousands.

And there are thousands of low-competition keywords still up for grabs.

And no, none of the affiliate programs listed are remotely related to those shady MLM “business” plans you’ve heard about.

Just the types of products and services you’d be happy to feature on your blog.

Essential Oil Affiliate Programs

39. Vaping

Vape niche

At least 500,000 people die each year in the United States from smoking-related illnesses.

Smoking cigarettes is demonstrably bad for you, and that’s coming from a smoker.

Yes, yes, it’s a filthy habit, and I’m ashamed of myself.

But let’s focus on you and why you should consider the vaping niche.

There are US$19.3 billion reasons why, to be precise.

More people are buying vapes than ever — the market has tripled in the last five years.

And if anything, the regulation of vaping will legitimize it, encouraging more people to at least try vaping for the first time.

So, despite what the mainstream media might tell you about, vaping isn’t going away any time soon.

The numbers don’t support the hysteria.

Vape Affiliate Programs

40. Dog

Dog niche

People tend to think of dogs as just being cute or adorable.

And they are – we love our dogs, right?

But our relationship with dogs is far more complex than that.

Did you know that dogs release oxytocin (the love chemical) when you look at or pet them and that your cortisol (stress hormone) levels drop when you hang out with your furry friend?

Dogs are good for your health.

So, it’s no surprise that dog owners spend an average of $1,200 per year feeding, caring for, and entertaining their prized pooch.

Worried that it’s already saturated?

It’s not – there are tens of thousands of low competition keywords for you to publish content around.

Dog Affiliate Programs

41. Restaurant

 Restaurant niche

You’d never considered restaurants to be a potential niche until the moment you read this.

Well, you’re not alone in that.

This is one of those surprising niches – surprising in terms of the programs we found and how much money some of them pay their affiliates.

The restaurant supply industry in the United States alone is valued at US$44 billion per year – that’s just foodstuffs, plates, forks, knives, and kitchen equipment.

Yes, some of the programs are the “dinner certificate” type, but we also uncovered some really novel products and services.

What are they?

Well, click on the button below, and you’ll find out.

42. Sports Betting

Sports Betting niche

Before we go any further on this, we need to be clear about something:

Sports betting is a very competitive vertical.

Calling it cut-throat is actually an understatement.

But it can also be insanely profitable—earning six figures per month can be the norm for many super affiliates.

So, while we do understand that some affiliate marketers might question entering this niche for moral or ethical reasons, I have a double-barreled question for you:

When was the last time you bought a lottery ticket, and how is that any different from putting $5 down on your favorite team to win?

The reality is that people will bet online whether or not you approve.

And with a market valued at US$225 billion per year, there’s a lot of money to be made here.

43. Fishing

Fishing niche

One of my earliest memories is of my father teaching me how to beach cast from the soggy sands of a seaside town near where I live.

On a warm summer’s day, I can smell the salt from that same stretch of ocean.

For him, it was passing a tradition from father to son and a skill that could be used later in life.

So I lived the, “…teach a man how to fish, and he can feed himself for a lifetime.”

And 49 million Americans practice that skill every single year for the same variety of reasons.

Fishing itself takes many forms, from sports to recreation, but all told, the “hobby” fishing industry is worth an estimated US$212 billion per year.

So, we tracked down some excellent programs to allow you to reel in some healthy profits.

Fishing Affiliate Programs

44. Education

Education niche

You’re probably wondering exactly how you can go about monetizing education.

Well, the first way is by promoting online education programs and exam guides.

The Internet started out as an educational tool used in schools and colleges before we people hijacked it to share cute cat pictures and memes.

But the beauty of the Internet is that it still facilitates the education process—you can study for a degree even if you live up a mountain.

Then, you can add all the other physical aspects of education, such as paper, pens, chairs, desks, etc.

See, that’s how you monetize education…once you have the right affiliate programs to promote.

45. Books

Books niche

I remember talking to one of my sisters about how conflicted she felt about owning a Kindle.

That it might somehow help bring about the end of paper-based books.

But I replied that I figured that some readers would always want to hold their favorite book in their hands.

Turns out I was right…minus predicting the explosive growth of the Kindle market.

The printed book industry is still worth US$119 billion per year, and there’s a thriving market for used book sales as buyer and seller.

And in another twist, there’s also a new sub-niche – eTextbook rentals for college students.

So, now is as good a time as any to build an affiliate site around any of the above topics.

Books Affiliate Programs

46. Event Tickets

Tickets niche

Pick a random affiliate marketer and ask them to brainstorm ideas for a new affiliate site.

There’s an excellent chance that event tickets either wouldn’t cross their radar or they’d discount it if it did.

While that’s understandable, it would also mean missing out on an industry in which consumers spend at least US$60 billion this year and up to US$80 billion before it’s time to elect a new president.

That includes tickets for events, attractions in certain cities, or just specific attractions.

The point is that people of all ages and from all walks of life now tend to book their event tickets online.

You can also get a cut of each ticket sale with the programs we found for you.

47. Herbal

Herbal niche

When you think about sage, lavender, or thyme, you don’t automatically think, “Moolah!”

But there was a time when certain herbs were worth their weight in gold.

To be precise, saffron is still worth its own weight in gold — $5,040 per pound.

While we can’t promise earnings like that, we were gobsmacked to learn that the herbal medicine industry is worth over US$70 billion per year.

So, regardless of your feelings on herbal medicines, we suggest that you park your opinion until you finish reading about our research on the niche and the programs we found.

You can thank us later.

48. Job

Job niche

Once upon a time ago, there was the notion of having a job for life.

These days, the average employee will have multiple jobs and/or careers within their lifetime.

That’s now the norm.

The market will shift again dramatically once automation becomes mainstream for service industry jobs.

We’re talking maybe 25 years down the road.

But for right now, people looking for a new job need help with everything from their resume to learning new skills, how to prep for their interview, and what to wear.

And yes, we found affiliate programs for you in each sub-niches.

Some of them have enviable commission rates.

Job Affiliate Programs

49. VPN

VPN niche

There’s never been a better market for VPNs than now.

If there were any justice in the world, Edward Snowden would receive a cut of every VPN package sold.

He exposed what people had suspected for a long time — that our governments are actively snooping on private data.

Which turned virtual private networks from a fad for geeks and nerds into a US$50 billion per year industry.

So you can help your visitors surf the web anonymously while protecting themselves from identity theft and other online security threats.

Or even just help them access the full library of their favorite online media streaming service.

Either way, this is a growth industry with the potential for a lot of affiliate income.

VPN Affiliate Programs

50. Pharmacy

Pharmacy niche

Relax; we know what types of images “pharma” affiliate programs conjure in most people’s minds.

But this roundup has nothing at all to do with those types of products.

Instead, we’ve tracked down legitimate programs covering everything from mail-order prescriptions to drug discount schemes all the way through to pharma affiliate networks.

So it’s nothing like the other “research” posts doing the rounds.

Is this niche worth your time and effort?

Well, it’s worth $128 billion per year.

So that’s a resounding “Yes”.

Pharmacy Affiliate Programs

51. Gardening

Gardening niche

Most affiliates tend to look for exciting niches when they go about building their first site.

They want to promote high ticket items and score big financial wins.

So, mentioning gardening as a potential niche can cause a raised eyebrow or two.

That’s even though the gardening industry in North America is currently valued at over $70 billion per year.

People love gardening without considering the growth in homesteading and urban farming.

It’s also worth mentioning that some of the most famous Authority Hacker alumni have made serious money in the gardening niche.

Like, 7-figures per year, seriously.

Gardening Affiliate Programs

52. Credit Card

Credit Card niche

I remember the first time I saw jaw-dropping affiliate income.

It was about 15 years ago when a friend of mine showed me what he was making from credit card affiliate offers.

Knowing that an income of US$60,000 per month was entirely possible changes how you see things.

Now, times have changed.

Credit card affiliate offers don’t pay as much as they used to.

And there’s more regulation in the industry.

But there’s still incredible demand for credit cards — that’s why the industry is worth US$3.2 trillion in the United States alone.

So here are the programs we’d promote if we were to enter this niche.

Credit Card Affiliate Programs

53. Mortgage

Mortgage niche

It would be easy to assume that nobody is looking for a mortgage.

What with the mortgage crisis of a decade ago and the world basically being completely insane right now?

However, assumptions are never a good idea when building affiliate sites.

That’s because 88% of mortgage applications in the United States are approved.

Basically, the mortgage industry is booming, with thousands of new mortgages being granted every week.

And some of the affiliate programs we found for you pay up to $200 per lead.

So, you do the math.

Mortgage Affiliate Programs

54. WordPress

WordPress niche

Most of the websites you visit regularly are run by WordPress.

And that’s because WordPress is the iPhone of web development — it made web publishing accessible.

You don’t need to know HTML, CSS, or PHP to run a WordPress site.

Also, it pretty much invented the idea of blogging as a hobby or business.

The platform’s massive popularity has created the demand for hosting, tools, and other services.

Which — believe it or not — has created a sub-industry worth around US$140 billion per year.

The WordPress affiliate programs we rounded up for you show you how to get your slice of this pie. Enjoy!

55. Web Hosting

Web Hosting niche

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you know that web hosting affiliate programs can be insanely profitable.

For those of you who have been residing in a cave of some kind, read the above.

But is there still any money in this niche?

Well, consider that 547,000 new websites are created every single day.

Each website is hosted somewhere, and the user most likely signed up for their account via an affiliate link.

With average commission rates of $100 per sale, affiliates are making a lot of cash promoting web hosting offers.

Is it a competitive niche?

Not if you’re clever about how you approach your content marketing.

Web Hosting Affiliate Programs

56. Fashion

Fashion niche

An ideal niche is one that people actively spend money in but is also recession-proof.

That — even during a major economic downturn — people will continue to purchase whatever products you’re promoting.

And, oddly enough, fashion is one of those “perfect” niches.

Because when everything else in their life has gone to hell, people still like to look and feel good about themselves.

Even during times of war.

Another interesting tidbit is that online fashion is experiencing a boom right now, with revenues growing by about 25% per year.

You’ll also be surprised at just how much commission some of these programs pay.

Fashion Affiliate Programs

57. Software

Software niche

I remember my first computer — a Sinclair ZX81 with 1KB (yes, one Kilobyte) of RAM.

Back then, “software” was what you typed in from the pages of a magazine.

Today’s software industry is a very different beast, with new applications appearing daily to help you with everything from task management to image manipulation.

It’s become an incredibly competitive industry.

This is why pretty much any piece of software you can think of will have an affiliate program.

And some of them are happy to pay you up to $50 for referring a new customer.

Software is probably the most overlooked niche I can think of right now.

Software Affiliate Programs

58. Skincare

Skin Care

Skincare is one of those niches with an audience more than happy to spend a vast disposable income on products or services.

Because — as much as we might hate to admit it — humans are vain creatures.

We’ve used beauty products for at least 7,000 years.

And we will likely continue doing that for at least the next few millennia.

But what is the skincare industry worth today?

A staggering US$180 billion in North America is set to grow significantly over the next five years.

Skincare Affiliate Programs

59. Binary Options

Binary Options

Binary options are part of the global currency trading market.

And while it’s impossible to put an exact value on it, you can be pretty sure this market is worth trillions.

The programs listed in this roundup include exchanges, brokers, and training programs.

Each of the brokers and exchanges is regulated, so your visitor’s cash is safe with them.

Basically, there’s something here to suit almost every aspect of an audience interested in binary options trading.

And quite a bit of money to be made from doing that.

Binary Options Affiliate Programs

60. Saas

Saas niche

SaaS stands for Software As A Service, which is basically software that you rent on a monthly basis but never actually own.

So, any web-based service you pay for is a SAAS product.

Now, the beauty of this is that most big software companies are pushing hard to get their products in the cloud instead of your local hard drive.

This means tons of affiliate programs for you to promote — including many of the products and services you already use.

Right now, this market is valued at around US$600 billion, but massive growth is predicted over the next few years.

You definitely want to check this one out.

SAAS Affiliate Programs

61. Credit Repair

Credit Repair niche

A certain percentage of people will always get themselves into financial trouble.

It won’t matter if the economy is up or down — some folks are just “bad” with money.

And that’s without the risk of an ever-present recession or downturn looming on the horizon.

There will always be demand for credit repair services and their affiliate programs.

And because this is an evergreen niche, the site you build today will probably still be putting money in your bank account a decade from now.

You can’t say the same for many “popular” niches.

Credi Repair Affiliate Programs

62. Metaphysical

Metaphysical niche

You don’t believe in this stuff?

That’s fine because somewhere around 100 million people in North America do. And you can fourfold that figure for the potential global audience.

Or, let me put it this way: How many friends do you know who have read their horoscopes or visited a psychic at least once in their lives?

Exactly.

The neat thing about this niche is that it’s not all tarot cards and magic crystals—you’ll find clothing, jewelry, and even water bottle programs to promote.

Plus, most affiliates avoid this niche because they think it’s either a bit hokey or there’s no money.

Yet the successful affiliates in this niche pull in 6 figures per month.

Metaphysical Affiliate Programs

63. Forex

Forex niche

For those of you who have never used ClickBank, Forex is an investment strategy that involves “betting” on Foreign Exchange rates.

Or, more specifically, the future price difference between a pair of currencies.

Is that actually worth anything to investors?

Only around US$5 trillion per year; yes, that’s a trillion with “T”.

This is a BIG business, but it is also a form of gambling.

The affiliate programs you can promote range from trade alert software to brokerages, social networks, tools, and trading systems.

Just bear in mind that this most definitely is a competitive niche.

However, competitive niches also tend to offer the biggest affiliate payouts.

Forex Affiliate Programs

64. Pet Insurance

Pet Insurance niche

“Until one has loved an animal, a part of one’s soul remains unawakened.”

— Anatole France

This is how pet owners feel about their furry friends or what others dispassionately call “companion” animals.

The very last thing they want to have happen is for their dog, cat, or other pet to become ill.

It causes the same level of distress as a human member of their family being unwell.

Every pet owner who has ever had to pay a massive veterinarian’s bill understands why pet insurance is invaluable.

The pet insurance affiliate programs we found for you have offers for the US and Europe, as well as insurance products designed for older furry friends or those with pre-existing medical conditions.

Oh, there’s also the tiny detail that this sub-niche is worth US$10 billion per year in the United States alone.

Pet Insurance Affiliate Programs

65. Personal Loans

Personal Loan niche

There’s a basic rule of affiliate marketing that’s worth remembering – you can make a lot of money in a niche where there’s a ton of demand.

And personal loans are a perfect example of how profitable the finance niche can be.

The financial crisis of 2008 didn’t change human behavior.

People are borrowing as much money now as they ever have.

Which is why the personal loan industry is enjoying double-digit annual growth.

Yes, some of the programs are effectively payday loans.

But there are also other offers like car title loans, personal loan comparison sites, and even “community” lenders.

So, there’s something for most audiences with a passing interest in personal finance.

This isn’t a niche for the faint-hearted so that these programs will pay up to US$150 per lead/sale.

Personal Loan Affiliate Programs

66. Drones

Drone niche

Aren’t drones just toys for kids and adults who never really grew up?

Yes and no.

Yes, you can get drones that are nothing more than toys.

But no, drones also have many professional applications, such as photography, construction, and security.

That’s why the commercial drone industry is now worth over US$40 billion per year.

And what’s really surprising about this niche is how varied it is.

These range from models costing $30 to $3,000.

So, there’s a lot of scope here for earning some tasty affiliate commissions.

Drone Affiliate Programs

67. Weddings

Wedding niche

Marriage is most definitely an evergreen niche – it’s a practice that pre-dates religion.

People get married during famines or even during times of war.

So you’re tapping into an active market worth over US$70 billion per year.

The programs we selected for you also help identify several sub-niches, like wedding favors or gift registries.

But there’s all the usual stuff like jewelry, dresses, flowers, photos, robes, and honeymoon vacations or cruises.

There’s a lot of money to be made in this niche, but you’d be wiser to go narrow and deep with a sub-niche rather than broad and authoritative.

Wedding Affiliate Programs

68. Survival

Survival niche

The average person typically views preppers as being a bit “out there.”

Until 2020, everyone suddenly understood the importance of having extra food and water stored at home.

The truth of the matter is that humans are hardwired for survival.

It’s why we became the dominant species on the planet.

That means promoting prepper programs taps into a demand everyone has, even if they don’t realize it.

That’s why this market is worth at least US$10 billion right now, and they’re calling it the “Doom Boom.”

It’s also a really interesting niche because you can promote everything from hunting gear, a prepper backpack, and freeze-dried food to bunkers.

Private condo bunkers that pay you a 10% commission for finding new “tenants”.

Survival Affiliate Programs

69. Art

Art niche

Now, here’s another niche most affiliates will completely overlook.

Instead choosing to chase the same niches as everyone else.

Art doesn’t sound like a very “sexy” niche, does it?

Would you still hold the same opinion if I told you that this market is worth US$70 billion per year?

Or that there are a huge number of sub-niches you can target.

Like “art supplies,” where there are hundreds of low competition (KD20 or lower) keywords.

Maybe you have a parenting site that could benefit from side-hustling art subscription boxes?

You could even take art classes—a friend of mine recently bought a $1,200 iPad to learn how to draw.

Another almost completely untapped sub-niche.

Art Affiliate Programs

70. Tax Preparation

Tax Preparation niche

The most successful affiliate marketers tend to be very good at one thing — helping people solve problems.

That could be helping you find a date, how to build a website, or even preparing your taxes.

Because most people would rather face an IRS audit and late fees than sit down and make their year-end receipts.

Fortunately, there’s a whole pile of businesses out there that can help with filing returns.

And the really cool part is that some of them even offer tax prep free of charge.

So, if you can’t get people to click a link to a free tax prep service…you might be in the wrong job.

Also, some affiliate programs pay up to $100 per sale.

Which puts them on the same level as credit card affiliate programs.

Tax Preparation Affiliate Programs

71. Shoes

Shoes niche

I own three pairs of shoes — two pairs of boots and one pair of shoes.

But I know I’m the exception rather than the rule.

Back in my day job, I worked with people who bought new pairs of shoes every week.

And that was almost exclusively from online stores.

They’re the “average” person who spends almost $300 per year on new shoes.

This makes this both a “raving fan” and an evergreen niche all in the same breath.

Maybe now you understand why Tony Hsieh set up Zappos?

Anyways, there are literally hundreds of different affiliate programs for shoes.

Shoes Affiliate Programs

72. Watches

Watch niche

How do you know if somebody owns a Rolex?

They tell you.

But here’s the really messed up thing  — humans have only worn wristwatches since the late 1800s.

They’ve become the norm for us in a little under 200 years.

We buy almost 1.2 billion watches each year, spending over US$115 billion on them.

This includes everything from luxury watches to handcrafter artisanal models to a basic digital watch.

Do people really spend that much on watches?

Oh yeah, they do — there are even subscription boxes for this.

Some of the watch affiliate programs we tracked down pay up to US$165 per referral.

Watch Affiliate Programs

73. Arts and Crafts

Arts And Crafts niche

Not everyone takes their art therapy to the extent of sculpting or drawing.

But even people who don’t sculpt or draw still find that doing something with their hands can be very therapeutic.

And that’s why arts and crafts are so popular with many people of all ages.

From all walks of life.

People love working with paper crafts, knitting, stickers, scrapbooking, fabrics, etc.

Roughly 5.6 million of them are in North America alone.

Which results in a niche worth US$50 billion per year.

And you’ll probably face a lot less competition here than in more mainstream or popular niches.

The low-hanging fruit can be very profitable if you allow them to.

Arts and Crafts Affiliate Programs

74. Tech

Tech niche

Can you imagine living in a world where the technology you take for granted simply doesn’t exist?

No smartphones because there’s no wireless Internet.

And no Internet because there are no computers.

Life as you know it would change forever.

The fact is that anything that impacts a society so dramatically obviously has huge value.

Which is why the tech niche is worth US$4 trillion per year.

And it’s so expansive you can promote everything from metal detectors to web hosting.

Some of them pay referral fees of up to $500 per sale.

Plus, you don’t ever have to worry about tech going out of style, which makes it kinda evergreen.

TecH Affiliate Programs

75. Hunting

Hunting niche

If you picture a hunter as being some stereotypical Redneck hunting wabbits, you’d be well off the mark.

That’s because tens of millions of Americans either hunt or fish each year.

Hunting is for people who understand that your meat or fish doesn’t come from a supermarket.

This is also one of those niches where fans spend a lot of money—the average angler spends about $1,200 on gear.

Every year.

Hunters combined contribute at least US$25 billion to the economy.

Hunting is also a niche that’s not just about weapons — there’s also emergency food, shelter, clothing, and boots to promote.

There’s actually quite a bit of overlap here with the survival niche, so that’s also something worth bearing in mind.

Hunting Affiliate Programs

76. Hair Products

Hair Products niche

Have you ever noticed that there’s always space in the local market for a new hairdresser?

Even if your city or town already has one on every street.

The average person is far more vain about their hair than they’d ever care to admit.

And that vanity means spending at least $80 on hair care — if not 5x that figure — every single year.

Plus, new customers for this niche are being born literally every day.

The neat thing about the hair care niche is that it spans everything from custom hair treatments for curly hair to hair accessories and regrowth products.

Commissions in this niche aren’t huge.

But it is one of the few niches where repeat orders for popular products are pretty much guaranteed.

Hair Product Affiliate Programs

77. Cats

Cat niche

Cat owners have this habit of spending money on cat food and treats before spending money on themselves.

That’s all pet owners, to be fair.

But cat owners need to be more zealous of their feline friends.

Something they’ve done since cats were first kept as pets by ancient Egyptians.

Cat houses, toys, scratching posts, pet insurance, and climbing frames are the norm, almost regardless of the cost.

If you’re worried that this niche might be too small to be worth the effort, it’s worth mentioning that almost 100 million cats live in homes across America.

It is a massive market where you don’t need to convince people to spend money.

Oh, and with some of the programs we found for you, you can make up to $80 per sale.

Cat Affiliate Programs

78. Hemp

Hemp niche

Being an early adopter in a niche can be worth a lot of money.

I mean, imagine if you’d started an iPhone site in 2007 and developed it ever since—you’d be earning a six-figure monthly income by now.

Hemp is in the same territory.

Because even though people have used hemp for tens of thousands of years, it’s only now becoming “socially” acceptable to use it.

Purely because governments can tax the living hell out of it.

This is an evergreen niche in more ways than one *cough*.

And it’s not all just hemp edibles and CBD oil — you can even promote hemp clothing, rope, bags, and martial arts clothing.

That’s how diverse this $20 billion niche is.

Hemp Affiliate Programs

79. Meditation

Meditation niche

Life moves pretty fast. If you don’t stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

— Ferris Bueller

Ferris was right — our world does move at breakneck speed.

There’s the constant encouragement to do more, travel more, read more, swipe more, and photograph everything.

It’s exhausting.

And that’s reflected in the huge increase in the number of people suffering from some form of anxiety or depressive disorder.

It’s also exactly why more and more people are turning to meditation to tune out the constant noise of modern life.

The meditation niche is not only beneficial but also very interesting.

You can promote everything from books and candles to meditation mats, essential oils, and spiritual counseling courses.

The more hectic our modern world becomes, the more demand there will be for products and services related to meditation.

Meditation Affiliate Programs

80. Keto

Keto niche

If you’re not familiar with Keto, it’s simply a low-carbohydrate diet by another name.

However, its popularity stems from the fact that people following a keto diet can lose substantial amounts of weight in very little time.

For example, 30 pounds in a month.

And as with any other kind of diet, Keto dieting has a huge potential audience and a rabid following.

Existing Keto followers fans always look for the latest snack or supplement to add to their routine.

And those new to Keto are looking for a friendly introduction and the right steps to follow.

Either way, you can simply position the right products in front of Keto dieters, and they’ll purchase them without thinking twice.

Keto Affiliate Programs

81. Psychics and Astrology

Psychic And Astrology niche

The whole idea of psychics and astrology might seem comical to some.

But that doesn’t stop fans and followers from spending at least US$2 billion per year on the various products and services that come as part of the market.

Regardless of whether you believe in it or not.

But do you believe your bank balance would look much happier if you were earning up to $150 per sale?

Because that’s exactly how much “psychic wellness” sites are willing to pay you for a new referral.

Even at the low end, $100 commissions are the norm in this niche.

And, believe me, there’s a ready audience for the various offers in this niche — from hippy stargazers to executive managers.

Psychic and Astrology Affiliate Programs

82. Podcasters

Podcasters niche

Podcasting might seem like a relatively new form of media.

However, the first-ever podcast went live in 2004, thanks in no small part to the iPod’s existence.

There are now 850,00 active podcasts in the world, and every single one wants to emulate Joe Rogan’s success.

Basically, there’s a new podcaster born every day.

And each of them will need the tools of the trade to make their podcast a success.

microphones, software, chairs, a camera, lighting, and training courses for writing scripts, among other things.

All told, the average podcaster needs to spend $500 to set up.

Then, they’ll also need a range of profitable programs to promote to their podcast audience and maybe even some advertising networks to sell airtime to.

PodcasT Affiliate Programs

83. Coupons

Coupon niche

Woah…coupon affiliate programs — aren’t they just for spammers?

Any affiliate program can be abused, and that includes ones that promote coupons.

The truth is that some of the biggest e-commerce companies have coupon programs you can promote.

Walmart and Rakuten are two perfect examples of this.

Legit coupon affiliate programs exist — you just need to know where to look.

Are they worth promoting, though?

The payouts can be small, but this is a volume game.

Some offers might only pay 10 cents for each coupon, but hundreds of millions of digital coupons are “clipped” each year.

You can do the math on that one.

Coupon Affiliate Programs

84. Cell Phones

Cell Phone niche

You don’t need us to tell you that cell phone marketing is massive.

$500 billion per year is massive.

And yes, it’s also a competitive niche to build a site.

But only if you’re trying to be an authority site covering all the bases.

Instead, why not focus on a popular sub-niche like iPhone photography lenses?

Or parental control software for smartphones?

Or maybe even ruggedized cell phones that don’t fall apart the first time you drop them?

There are still many opportunities to make very good money if you have an audience interested in swapping cell phone providers.

High commission rates are in the $50 to $100 per sale range in this niche.

85. Medical

Medical niche

The global population is getting older.

The UN predicts that by 2050, one in six people will be over 65, up from one in 11 in 2019.

Much of this is down to advances in medical science. Many health-related issues that were life-threatening just a few decades ago are now easily treatable.

However, one thing that medical science hasn’t been able to change or reverse is the aging process and its accompanying health challenges.

An aging population has a greater need for medical care and products, which means the medical market is extremely valuable and will only get bigger.

That makes it an extremely valuable affiliate niche.

Medical Affiliate Programs

86. Diabetes

Diabetes niche

On the subject of medical issues and the associated opportunities they present for affiliates, let’s look at diabetes.

More than one in ten Americans have diabetes, equivalent to over 34 million people.

About one-third of US adults have prediabetes — that is, their blood sugar levels are higher than normal but aren’t yet high enough for them to be diagnosed with diabetes.

Those people — and lots more besides — are looking for information on diabetes and how to treat it.

Many are researching online, with diabetes-related searches increasing by 14% in the last five years.

Now’s a great time to get in front of that traffic and monetize it through affiliate marketing.

Diabetes Affiliate Programs

87. Mobile Apps

Mobile Apps niche

Worldwide mobile app revenues will be worth over $935 billion by 2023.

In April 2021 alone, the two largest Android gaming app publishers — Moon Active and Supercell —earned more than $110 million.

That’s right — we’ve come a long way since Snake.

Some apps monetize through downloads, and some through in-app purchases and advertising. Others do all of the above.

Either way, there’s a ton of money to be made here for affiliates.

Mobile App Affiliate Programs

88. Boutique

Boutique niche

If you’ve ever watched The Devil Wears Prada (and if you haven’t, you definitely should), you’ll know fashion doesn’t happen by chance.

That blue sweater you wear can trace its lineage to a catwalk show five years ago before trickling down to department stores, boutiques, and high street retailers worldwide.

In other words, you can’t escape fashion.

As an affiliate marketer, why would you even want to when the global apparel market is expected to be worth an eye-watering $2.25 trillion by 2025?

Boutiques are especially attractive because the products are at the premium end of the market — which means higher commissions.

89. Cooking

Cooking niche

The global household cooking appliance market was worth almost $81 billion in 2018.

Moreover, between 2019 and 2025, it’s expected to enjoy a compound annual growth rate of 6.5%.

That’s hardly surprising when more than two-thirds of Americans cook at least three times a week, with just one in 12 doing so less than once a week.

So whether you’re a food blogger looking to monetize the traffic you generate or a new affiliate marketer looking for a potential niche, you could do much worse than joining a cooking affiliate program.

Cooking Affiliate Programs

90. Electronics

Electronics niche

Revenue in the consumer electronics market is expected to hit almost $150 billion by the end of 2021.

That’s a whole lot of money — and 51% of it will be generated through online sales.

That’s right; gone are the days when consumers needed to see a dishwasher, a microwave, or a TV in person before purchasing.

Today, they’re happy to splash the cash on electronic goods after researching online.

As you’ve likely realized, that creates a huge opportunity for affiliates.

Because product prices are comparatively high in the electronics market, there are generous commissions to be earned here.

Electronics Affiliate Programs

91. Beauty

 Beauty niche

Beauty is a fantastic evergreen affiliate marketing niche.

Rain or shine, summer or winter, people are always prepared to spend money to help them look their best.

So, it’s no surprise the global skincare market is expected to be worth nearly $190 billion by 2025.

That’s a small fry compared to the cosmetics market, which is forecast to top $750 billion by the same year.

With so many beauty products available, consumers seek advice on what to buy.

That creates a big opportunity for beauty bloggers and other affiliates to monetize by promoting their favorite beauty brands.

Beauty Affiliate Programs

92. T-Shirts

T Shirts niche

Once upon a time, everyone thought they had a novel in them.

Today, everyone thinks they’ve got a great T-shirt idea.

But whether or not your concept for a scoop neck covered in images of Nicolas Cage’s face sets the fashion world ablaze, there’s big money to be made in the custom T-shirt game.

How much?

Well, the global custom T-shirt printing market was valued at more than $1 billion in 2016, and by 2025, it’s expected to exceed $3 billion.

That’s a whole lot of T-shirts!

Even if you only carve out a tiny slice of that pie, you can still earn a healthy income as a T-shirt affiliate.

T-SHirt Affiliate Programs

93. Dog Training

If you’ve never been on social media, let me clarify: people love dogs.

And they love spending money on them, too, which makes dog training one of our favorite niches for affiliate marketing.

But don’t just take my word for it — let’s dive into the numbers.

Nearly two-fifths of American homes have at least one dog, with the average dog-owning household having precisely 1.6 dogs.

Those canine-crazy owners spend more than $1,200 yearly on their pampered pooches, including $38 a year on training-related products.

From basic puppy training to more advanced, breed-specific programs, that means plenty of opportunities for affiliate marketers.

94. Private Jets

Private jets aren’t exactly a mass-market product.

Even the cheapest, least luxurious private jet charter will cost the passenger thousands of dollars, while premium jets and long-distance charters can run to tens (or even hundreds) of thousands.

That means you’re targeting an extremely niche audience — government agencies, major corporations, and high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs).

Thanks to the wonders of the capitalist system, there are more and more of those HNWIs knocking around, but don’t delude yourself: even the most successful private jet affiliate isn’t going to drive multiple sales a day.

Still, the commissions on a single charter can be huge, so you could earn a steady job replacement income by referring to just one sale every day or two.

Private Jet Affiliate Programs

95. Homeschooling

Homeschooling in the US saw rapid growth from 1999 – 2012, accounting for around 3.3% of students.

However, that pales compared to the uplift it saw due to COVID-19. By the Fall 2020 term, about six months into the pandemic, about one in nine households with school-age children were homeschooling their kids.

As you can likely imagine, homeschooling isn’t easy.

You need a curriculum for each class. You need stationery. You need learning resources like textbooks, activities, and games. And you need a reliable way to manage your time and organize your records.

While those aren’t necessarily high-ticket items (they’re clearly not in the private jet league), there’s definitely a lot of demand for them. Which makes this a niche with tons of potential.

Homeschool Affiliate Programs

96. Non-Profit & Charity

When you think about high-earning affiliate niches, the non-profit and charity sector probably doesn’t spring immediately to mind.

The phrase “non-profit” should raise a red flag to anyone hoping to earn big commissions.

But in reality, non-profit organizations and charities actually bring in massive amounts of money — they don’t profit from it (obviously).

Globally, charities and non-profits will be worth more than $400 billion by 2030.

So, there’s plenty of cash to be made as a non-profit or charity affiliate. Plus, you get to enjoy the warm, fuzzy feeling that comes from knowing your efforts are helping to support a good cause.

Charity Affiliate Programs

97. Law of Attraction

If you’ve ever spent any time on TikTok, you’ll know manifestation is a big deal right now.

Search interest has increased almost five-fold in the past five years, according to Google Trends.

This is where the so-called “law of attraction” comes in. While I don’t claim to be an expert, it’s basically about how positive thought can yield positive results.

It’s easy to dismiss the law of attraction as pseudoscientific nonsense, but there’s obviously some logic.

Like, if I spend all my time thinking about how to land that big promotion, there’s a good chance I’ll actually end up doing the stuff that helps me achieve it.

Anyway, it turns out there are lots of products and courses that can improve your manifesting powers.

Pleasingly, affiliates can earn big commissions from promoting those products and courses; it’s not unusual to see commission rates of 50% or more.

Law of Attraction Affiliate Programs

98. Movies

We all love going to the movies. We love the smell of freshly made popcorn, the dimming of the lights, and the trailers.

However, box office revenues have taken a bit of a beating in recent months (for obvious reasons), with more and more people turning to streaming services to get their cinematic fix.

Indeed, global revenue growth in the video streaming niche increased by 30% in 2020 and is expected to hit an eye-watering $115 billion by 2026.

You can claim a slice of that delicious pie as an affiliate marketer by promoting movie affiliate programs from Amazon, AMC, and Hulu.

The commissions aren’t huge, but there’s definitely enough demand to make this a worthwhile niche.

Movie Affiliate Programs

99. Legal

It will come as no surprise to virtually no one that there is a lot of money to be made in the legal niche.

Revenue from legal services in the US is expected to hit almost $350 billion by 2024. That’s enough to make even Elon Musk sit up and take notice.

While the first thing I think about the legal world might be “money”, the second is definitely “confusing”.

All that legalese is basically impossible for the layperson to understand, which makes completing essential legal documents a baffling ordeal.

Unsurprisingly, many companies have realized this and aim to simplify the process by selling templated legal forms.

Often, those companies offer a subscription that allows customers to access unlimited documents. As any experienced affiliate marketer will tell you, subscriptions often mean recurring commissions.

Legal Affiliate Programs

100. Outdoor

When I was a kid, outdoor activities like hiking and camping were deeply unfashionable. You only did them because your parents forced you to.

Today, the outdoors is cool. It seems like everyone spends their weekends yomping over hills and leaping across canyons.

And, like basically everything else in the world, we’ve all collectively decided that going for a stroll is simply impossible without first investing hundreds of dollars in walking boots, trekking poles, and expensive jackets.

Which explains why the global market for outdoor gear is forecast to be worth more than $62 billion by 2027.

Outdoor Affiliate Programs

101. Woodworking

Woodworking is one of those old-timey hobbies that’s seeing something of a resurgence now that we’re all conscious of spending less time glued to our screens.

According to research from the Craft & Hobby Association, it’s the fourth most popular arts and crafts-related activity in the US, behind the big-hitting triumvirate of drawing, scrapbooking, and crocheting.

Of course, woodworking isn’t exactly a pick-up-and-go hobby. You need tools, materials, and a vague idea of achieving the desired result.

As an affiliate, you can earn money by promoting woodworking courses and templates, as well as the physical equipment required to do the job.

Woodworking Affiliate Programs

102. Luxury Travel

Much like the private jet niche, luxury travel isn’t available to everyone. If it were, it wouldn’t be luxurious. Unfortunately.

As such, promoting luxury travel affiliate programs inevitably means targeting a pretty small audience, which makes it an extremely competitive space.

However, the rewards are definitely there. The luxury travel market is expected to be worth an obscene $1.2 trillion by 2027, so it’s well worth investing the time to build a high-quality luxury travel-themed affiliate site.

Typically, commission rates in the industry aren’t huge (5% is pretty common). But the average order values can be sky-high, which means there’s a whole lot of money to be made here.

Luxury Travel Affiliate Programs

103. Recreational Vehicles

Recreational vehicles are as American as apple pie, bald eagles, and expensive healthcare.

RV ownership has climbed by almost two-thirds over the past few decades, with over 11 million US households owning a recreational vehicle, according to the RV Industry Association.

And that growth shows no signs of slowing, with almost 10 million households planning to buy an RV in the next five years.

This makes the RV market attractive to affiliates, and the industry is set to be worth $48 billion by 2026.

From sales and rentals to parts and appliances, there are plenty of ways to make money in this niche, which gives you a wide audience to target.

RV Affiliate Programs

104. Guns

Guns might be terrifying implements of death, but they’re also big money.

According to Gallup, just under one-third of American adults own a gun, while more than two-fifths say they live in a gun-owning household.

And despite endless negative press coverage, there have been no signs of a downturn in ownership in more than a decade.

This means that the gun industry isn’t short of a buck or two. By 2027, the market is expected to be worth almost $9.5 billion.

I may not be a gun nut, but I know there are plenty of ways to monetize this niche. There are several products to promote, from ammo and accessories to apparel and, obviously, the guns themselves.

Gun Affiliate Programs

105. Subscription Boxes

It felt like the whole world went subscription box crazy about a decade ago.

Then, interest started to wane; the dream was over.

Until the pandemic happened. With consumers everywhere forced to spend extended periods inside, many leaped at the chance to have their favorite products delivered straight to their doors.

The net result is that the subscription box industry — valued at $19 billion in 2020 — is expected to grow more than 20% from 2021 – 2026.

According to research from First Insight, one-quarter of Americans already pay for at least one subscription box service, and a further one-third are planning to sign up soon. That gives you a big audience to target.

Subscription Box Affiliate Programs

106. Webinars

Webinars are yet another niche that’s actually benefited from the pandemic.

As conferences and in-person meetings became impractical or illegal, webinars provided an obvious solution.

According to webinar platform ON24, webinar usage surged by 162% year over year in 2020, with attendance almost quadrupling to 60 million people.

Unsurprisingly, that surge in uptake has translated to a massive increase in revenue, with the global market for webinars and webcasts set to reach $800 million by 2023.

So, while webinars might not be the “sexiest” products to promote, there’s clearly a lot of potential here.

Webinar Affiliate Programs

107. Soccer

Soccer — of “football”, to use its correct name — is the most popular sport in the world, with about four billion fans across the globe.

Those fans don’t just support their chosen teams by chanting crude songs about the opposition’s star player; they also support them with their wallets.

In the 2018 – 2019 season alone, English Premier League giants Manchester United sold 3.25 million replica shirts worldwide.

Of course, merchandise isn’t the only way to make money in the soccer niche. Many people play the sport, too — and those people need boots, balls, gloves, socks, shin pads, and more.

Soccer Affiliate Programs

108. Dropshipping

Dropshipping is a retail fulfillment model in which the seller never actually comes into contact with the item they’re selling.

Instead, they buy it from a third party, who handles all the promotional work and then sends it to the buyer.

It allows would-be entrepreneurs to build a thriving ecommerce business without worrying about boring logistical stuff.

That’s a pretty appealing system — so appealing that the ecommerce dropshipping market is expected to be worth $476 billion by 2026.

However, to do dropshipping well, you need the right tools—tools to help you find the right niche, order samples from vendors, and track your sales. You’ll make money by promoting those all-important tools as a dropshipping affiliate.

Dropshipping Affiliate Programs

109. Email Marketing

Sure, emails aren’t particularly exciting. But as far as brands are concerned, they’re an absolute goldmine.

Email marketing consistently delivers a stupidly high return on investment, which explains why 87% of marketers use the channel to distribute content.

That sky-high uptake explains why the global market for email marketing software is expected to hit $2.3 billion by 2027.

Want to know the best thing about the email marketing niche (from an affiliate marketing perspective, at least)?

All those email marketing tools require an ongoing monthly subscription to keep using them. That means many email marketing affiliate programs pay recurring lifetime commissions — so as long as your referred customers keep paying, you keep earning.

Email Marketing Affiliate Programs

110. Gold

Gold was valuable thousands of years ago, and it’s valuable today.

The global spot price of gold has risen significantly over the past five decades.

On a basic level, that’s because the more of the shiny stuff we dig out of the ground, the less there is to mine in the future — which means it’s (kind of) becoming rarer.

So you won’t be shocked to learn that the gold industry is set for further growth over the coming years. From 2020 to 2026, it’s predicted to expand at a rate of 3.9% to more than $350 billion.

Gold Affiliate Programs

111. Wrestling

Weirdly for a “sport” that involves muscular, lycra-clad individuals power-slamming one another through tables, wrestling evokes the warm, nostalgic feeling otherwise associated with beloved family meals and cherished childhood memories.

Perhaps that’s why 11 million US wrestling fans a week tune in to watch the latest WWE content.

But monetizing the wrestling niche isn’t just about promoting content and merchandise.

As of 2017, almost two million people were active participants in wrestling in the US. Those people need wrestling equipment, which gives you another avenue to earn commissions.

Wrestling Affiliate Programs

112. Wine

The popping of a cork, the glugging of a silky Rioja or Merlot as it fills your glass, the first sip of a crisp Pinot Grigio on a hot summer’s day.

The wine is great. We can all agree on that.

It’s a great affiliate marketing niche, too, with the global wine industry expected to be worth a whopping $434.6 billion by 2027 and the average American household spending more than $130 on wine at home each year.

The obvious way to make money as a wine affiliate is through promoting wine clubs or individual bottles. However, other avenues exist, such as wine accessories and unique gifts like engraved bottles.

Wine Affiliate Programs

113. Boxing

Moving swiftly from “drunk” to “punch drunk,” boxing is another affiliate marketing niche with huge potential.

It’s not the biggest sport in the world, but there are still over five million participants aged six and above in the US.

Obviously, those participants need gloves, headgear, gumshields, and more. From 2021 – 2025, the global marketing for boxing equipment is set to grow by over $270 million.

Understandably, anyone prepared to enter the squared circle wants to give themselves the best chance of not getting knocked out, so there’s also a sizable market for online boxing training.

Boxing Affiliate Programs

114. Alcohol

Continuing the boozy theme, if you like the idea of promoting intoxicating beverages but don’t want to focus solely (or at all) on wine, why not become a generalist alcohol affiliate?

Revenue from alcoholic drinks is expected to reach more than $1.4 trillion by the end of 2021, with the average person consuming just over 37 liters a year.

That’s equivalent to just over one pint a week, which doesn’t seem nearly enough. Come on, people, step up your game.

Anyway, average per-person spending stands at more than $190, so there’s obviously a huge audience to tap into here. That makes closing the deal a comparatively simple task.

Alcohol Affiliate Programs

115. Beer

Finally, in our alcoholic triple-header, let’s take a brief look at the beer market.

Beer represents the largest segment of the alcohol market, and sales are expected to surpass $550 billion in 2021.

However, beer affiliates have plenty of opportunities beyond promoting their favorite brews.

For one thing, home beer delivery is a large and growing sub-niche, expected to be worth more than $40 billion by 2024.

And then there’s home-brewing, which is forecast to reach a value of $30 million by 2030. In 2017, the hobby had been adopted by more than one million Americans, two-fifths of whom had taken it up within the previous four years.

Beer Affiliate Programs

116. Kids Toys

Toys are fun!

Nintendo Game Boys; Tamagotchis; Pogs; whatever kids play with these days…

But they’re also big business, with the global toy industry expected to be worth more than $100 billion by 2027.

It’s easy to see why. In 2019, parents in Europe spent an average of $212 per child on toys, a total that climbs to $300 per child in North America.

Some kids’ toys are purely for entertainment, while others are designed to help children develop new skills or explore their creative sides.

Commissions in the kids’ toys niche aren’t the highest, but on the flip side, there’s plenty of scope to make repeat purchases.

Just look at Lego, the world’s number one toy brand in 2021. No kid has ever built a Lego set and then thought: “Now I’m completely satisfied.” No, they want to build more and more!

Kids Toys Affiliate Programs

117. Grocery

Groceries might not sound like the flashiest affiliate marketing niche, but there’s a lot of sense behind promoting a truly mass-market product.

Unsurprisingly, every grocery affiliate program we’ve seen is predominantly (or wholly) geared toward driving online sales.

That’s a huge and growing market; a report from Technavio predicts that online grocery delivery services alone will see $800 billion of growth between 2020 and 2025.

Commissions in the grocery sector don’t tend to be huge, with most programs paying a fixed sum for new customer orders.

On the flip side, we all gotta eat, which means grocery-related products and services are comparatively easy to sell.

Grocery Affiliate Programs

118. NFTs

We’ve already mentioned how cryptocurrency is an attractive niche for affiliates. Now, let’s discuss another blockchain-related affiliate marketing opportunity: NFTs.

While the hubbub around non-fungible tokens has died down a little since the heady days of January 2022…

…the NFT market is still expected to be worth more than $122 billion by 2028, largely driven by the usage of NFT technology in the arts sector.

Many of the big players in the crypto world—Coinbase and Crypto.com—also have NFT offerings, while niche sites like mintNFTs.co and the AI Art Shop are totally dedicated to the NFT niche.

Commissions vary widely but reach as much as 75% per sale for some NFT affiliate programs.

NFT Affiliate Programs

119. Candles

Who doesn’t love lighting a beautifully scented candle and unwinding with a good book on a cold night?

But candle affiliate programs aren’t just a seasonal opportunity. Plenty of affiliates are making money in this niche all year round.

By 2028, the global candle industry is expected to be worth almost $10 billion — up from about $7 billion in 2021. That represents a compound annual growth rate of 6.5%, partly driven by increased demand for premium soy candles.

You won’t find any candle affiliate programs paying 50%+ commissions. However, there’s still plenty of earning potential here, with most programs paying 10% – 15%.

Candle Affiliate Programs

120. Silver

From silver bars to bullion coins, silver products have never been more popular, with demand expected to hit a new peak of 1.21 billion ounces in 2022 — up by 16% on 2021.

There are various reasons for silver’s newfound popularity. According to the Silver Institute, support from investors has been prompted by recessionary concerns, fears of high inflation, the Russia-Ukraine war, and general mistrust of governmental policies. Sales have been exceptionally high in the Indian market, where lower rupee prices saw demand almost double.

There’s no shortage of investors looking to buy silver. Because of its intrinsic value as a precious metal, you won’t have to work too hard to persuade prospective customers that it’s a smart purchase.

Another attractive element (pun intended) of the niche is that silver is a high-ticket product. Prices are high, and double-digit commissions aren’t uncommon. So it doesn’t take a genius to see the earning potential here.

Silver Affiliate Programs

121. Dental

We know what you’re thinking: “No one wants to visit the dentist, so why would I promote dental affiliate programs?”

People may not love the dentist, but they definitely care about their teeth. One study found that 57% of Americans cover their mouths when they smile because they feel insecure about their teeth. Separate research revealed that oral health is more important to US consumers than weight, exercise, or mental health.

From teeth whitening to clear aligners, there’s no shortage of products to promote in the dental niche. And because those products are expensive, there’s excellent earning potential here. It’s not unusual to see double-digit (or even triple-digit) EPCs.

Dental Affiliate Programs

122. Website Builders

Website builders have become a mass-market product. It’s hard to think of a business that wouldn’t benefit from having a website that gives you a vast audience to target.

No wonder there’s so much money in the website builder market. By 2027, the niche is expected to be worth more than $2.6 billion, representing a compound annual growth rate of almost 8% since 2020.

Beyond the mass appeal, there are two reasons to love website builder affiliate programs. Firstly, the commissions are comparatively high, with some programs offering triple-digit bounty payments. Secondly, many programs offer recurring commissions, meaning you keep earning for as long as your referrals keep paying.

Website Builder Affiliate Programs

123. Baking

Partly spurred by the popularity of the Great British Baking Show, baking has become a vastly popular hobby, with the global market for bakery products expected to surpass $590 billion by 2028.

Once a niche pursuit, baking now appeals to many audiences. You don’t need to be a food blogger to promote baking affiliate programs. Whether you write about diets, parenting, health and wellness, or even household budgeting, you can recommend your favorite baking products.

There’s no shortage of product categories within the niche, from online courses to premium ingredients and high-quality baking tools. This means there’s plenty of opportunity to earn dough from baking programs.

Baking Affiliate Programs

124. Mental Health

Awareness of mental health has never been higher, with an estimated one in five Americans experiencing some kind of mental illness

Unsurprisingly, many people want to feel better or find ways to manage their conditions better. This has led to a significant upturn in demand for mental health-related products. The global market for mental health apps is expected to be 20.43 billion by 2031 — and that’s just a tiny slice of the broader mental health “industry.”

From wearable technology to dedicated apps to online therapy, there are plenty of products aimed at helping people with mental health conditions. And with some mental health affiliate programs paying triple-digit commissions, there’s lots of earning potential here.

Mental Health Affiliate Programs

125. Anime

A decade ago, anime (and manga) were hardly known in the Western world.

That’s definitely no longer the case. A 2020 survey found that 11% of US adults have a very favorable opinion of anime movies, rising to 27% among 18 to 29-year-olds.

Whether buying anime action figures, purchasing anime DVDs, or ordering the latest manga comics, anime fans love spending money on their passion. This means the global anime industry is expected to reach a staggering $56 billion by 2030, up from about $25 billion in 2021.

However, as with any fandom, anime enthusiasts can spot a faker instantly. If you don’t genuinely love anime and are just trying to earn a quick buck, you’ll get found out fast.

Anime Affiliate Programs

126. Motorcycle

Motorbikes are cool. They’re also an extremely valuable affiliate niche, with the global motorcycle industry valued at over $104 billion in 2021. Moreover, it’s expected to enjoy compound annual growth of almost 7.5% from 2022 – 2028.

There are over 8.3 million publicly owned, private, and commercial motorcycles in the US. While the stereotypical biker is a burly, bearded, heavily tattooed middle-aged man, motorcycles are also popular with a younger audience, with 13% of 18 to 29-year-olds owning a bike in 2021.

Of course, there’s more to the motorcycle niche than the bikes themselves. There are plenty of products to promote, from apparel and safety gear to spare parts and accessories, which allows you to target a broader audience.

Motorcycle Affiliate Programs

127. Car Rental

Car rental is a big-money niche, with the market expected to grow by 6.7% and reach $145.6 billion by 2027.

Vacation rentals are the most obvious opportunity in the car hire niche. But there are various other audience segments, from hiring a van to assist with a house move to renting a car for a domestic road trip.

This means there’s no shortage of potential car rental customers. Figures show there are currently about 417 million car rental users worldwide, with this number set to reach 602+ million by 2026.

The only downside to car rental affiliate programs is the comparatively low commission rates, which tend to be around 1% – 5%. However, those commissions add up fast, with average prices for a seven-day rental reaching as high as $695.

Car Rental Affiliate Programs

128. Bodybuilding

Bodybuilding used to be all about muscled hunks in tiny speedos pulling alarming poses. But times have changed. Today, weight training is the second most popular form of sports and exercise in the US, with one in 11 adults lifting, curling, and snatching on an average day.

This mass-market appeal means wide-ranging opportunities to earn commissions as a bodybuilding affiliate.

For starters, you could promote fitness equipment like free weights and benches. According to one report, the global fitness equipment market will be worth almost $15 billion by 2028. Or you could recommend your favorite bodybuilding supplements, with the sports nutrition market expected to reach nearly $86 billion by 2030.

Then there’s bodybuilding gear and training courses… the list goes on.

Bodybuilding Affiliate Programs

129. Bicycle

Noticed more bikes on the roads lately? You’re not imagining things. US cycling participation has increased by almost one-fifth since 2012, with over 51 million Americans saddling up at least once in 2021.

One of our favorite things about the bicycle niche is the potential for repeat purchases. If you’ve ever owned a bike, you’ll know there’s more to cycling than the bike itself. You might need a helmet, lights, a water bottle, specialist apparel, a GPS, and more. And when something breaks, you’ll need spare parts, too.

So it’s no surprise that the average US household spends $24 a year on cycling-related purchases, while the global bicycle market is expected to be worth a massive $128.7 billion by 2030.

Bicycle Affiliate Programs

130. Mattress

Want an eye-catching statistic to highlight why the mattress market is such an attractive affiliate niche? Approximately 100% of people go to sleep every single day.

Unsurprisingly, most of us like to feel cozy in bed — and we’re happy to pay for our comfort. In the US, queen-size innerspring mattresses sold for an average price of $1,050 in 2021, while the global mattress market is expected to reach $73 billion by 2030.

One downside of the niche is that mattresses have a long lifespan, most lasting 7 – 10 years. So you won’t see many repeat purchases. But they’re high-ticket items, so you can make a job replacement income by driving three or four sales daily.

Mattress Affiliate Programs

131. Computer

These days, it’s pretty much impossible to get through life without having access to a computer. About 20 million PCs are shipped in the US every quarter, while the global computer industry is expected to reach a value of over $224 billion by 2030.

Much of this growth is driven by consumers’ increasing love of gaming. Research from the Entertainment Software Association found that two-thirds of Americans play video games regularly, with two-fifths playing on a PC.

But computers aren’t just for shooting people on Call of Duty; some of us even use them for work. With three-fifths of Americans working from home at least once a week, our need for home computers has never been higher.

Computer Affiliate Programs

132. Tea

Other than plain old water, tea is the world’s favorite beverage. So, you might think there’s little growth potential within the tea niche.

But you’d be wrong. Between 2016 and 2025, the market is expected to increase by 54%, with global consumption set to reach 7.4 billion kilograms by the end of the study period.

Traditionally, tea hasn’t truly caught on with American consumers, with the US languishing at #35 on the list of the world’s biggest tea lovers. But there are signs that things are changing. Revenue in the US tea market reached $13.5 billion in 2021, up from just $1.8 billion in 1990.

Mass-market appeal and tons of growth on the horizon… what’s not to like?

Tea Affiliate Programs

133. DIY

The pandemic forced us to find new hobbies that involved never leaving the house. For that reason, many of us embarked on DIY projects — from crocheting duvet covers to sewing our own clothes.

By 2022, DIY and arts and crafts had become the seventh most popular pastime in the US, with one-quarter of Americans naming it as a hobby or interest.

The beauty of this niche is its boundless potential for repeat purchases. Once they’ve got the DIY bug, hobbyists will keep buying new arts and crafts supplies forever. So it’s no surprise the global arts and crafts supplies market is projected to grow at a compound rate of over 8% from 2021 to 2027, by which time it’ll be worth an estimated $62.5 billion.

DIY Affiliate Programs

134. Parenting

Modern humans first evolved about 300,000 years ago, so you’d think we’d have mastered the parenting business by now.

Most new parents will tell you differently. Between the temper tantrums, the constant night-time wake-ups, and the refusal to try new foods, it turns out kids are hard work. And they’re also expensive, with an analysis from the Brookings Institution revealing the average US family spends over $310,000 raising children between birth and their 18th birthday.

That’s bad news for parents but good news for affiliate marketers. From online classes to parenting planners and money-management apps, you can promote a near-endless list of parenting-related products.

135. eBook

Reading is one of life’s greatest pleasures. But once you finish a book, you either give it away or leave it on a shelf to gather dust. If only there was another way.

Turns out there is! The eBook market has seen much growth in recent years, fueled by the increasing affordability of e-readers like the Amazon Kindle and Barnes & Noble’s Nook. By 2026, the niche is expected to be worth almost $19 billion.

A survey from Pew Research Center revealed that one-third of Americans read at least one eBook in 2021 — twice as many as in 2011. Most read physical books and eBooks, but 9% have gone fully digital. And with the average American reading 12.6 books a year, there’s tons of potential for repeat purchases.

136. Cyber Security

Without the internet, there’d be no Authority Hacker, which would be terrible. However, the online realm can also be scary, with the global cost of cybercrime expected to reach $10.5 trillion by 2025.

In the movies, cyber-attacks are primarily about robbing banks or launching nukes. They’re much more mundane in real life, typically resulting in our valuable personal data being leaked all over the web. In the first half of 2022 alone, 53+ million Americans had their data compromised.

Unsurprisingly, all this criminal activity has led to soaring profits for cyber security companies. By 2027, the industry is expected to generate revenues of over $262 billion.

137. Printing

When Johannes Gutenberg invented the printing press in the mid-15th century, he likely didn’t envisage a world where regular people could get their cat’s face printed on a coffee mug. But that’s his problem.

Today, print-on-demand services are big money. The industry is expected to expand at a compound rate of 26.1% from 2022 – 2030, by which time it’ll be worth over $39 billion

Much of this growth stems from our ever-increasing desire for personalized products. According to ComCap, one-third of consumers expect products and services to be personalized by default, while one-fifth are happy to pay up to a 20% premium for personalized purchases.

Many of the best printing affiliate programs operate on a subscription model. That’s fantastic news for affiliates because those programs often pay recurring commissions, increasing your earning potential.

138. Nail

We all have nails, and many like them to look fancy. We might treat our nails to a manicure or pedicure, coat them in glittery polish, or gussy them with stickers and decals.

Nail care is a big deal in the US. In 2020, 101 million American women used nail products. Meanwhile, 50 million US adults went for at least one manicure, while 20 million went 4+ times throughout the year.

Of course, nails aren’t just an American obsession; they’re global. Nail industry revenue is set to increase from $11 billion in 2022 to $14 billion by 2027, representing a 4.6% compound growth rate.

139. Health

The health and wellness niche is one of the most popular and profitable niches in affiliate marketing. It covers various physical, mental, and emotional topics, such as personal care, nutrition, fitness, happiness, and alternative medicine.

People interested in this niche look for products and services that can help them improve their quality of life, prevent or manage chronic diseases, and achieve a sense of balance and harmony.

The health and wellness niche is also very competitive and saturated, meaning you need to find a unique angle or a specific problem to solve for your target audience.

This is kind of like the end credits scene in a Marvel movie.

So far, we’ve covered specific niches and their associated programs.

But we’ve also published content focused on two other key areas – offers that pay a lot of money and those that pay you more than once.

Recurring Affiliate Programs

Recurring

As a martial arts instructor once explained to me, “Why break one joint when you can break two?”

The same logic should apply to any affiliate marketer – why not get paid multiple times for one sale?

And that’s exactly what recurring programs offer.

Now, the flip side of this is that most recurring programs only pay a few bucks per month.

So, having four recurring customers pay you $9 per month isn’t going to buy you that island in the Caribbean you’ve always wanted.

But 100 recurring customers paying you $900 per month will definitely be good for your financial health.

Like making a dent in your monthly rent or mortgage payment.

High-Paying Affiliate Programs

High Paying

It’s really, really easy to find programs that promise to pay you (the affiliate) a ton of cash.

But it’s much harder to find ones that actually made good on that promise.

The high-paying programs we found have a proven sales record, i.e., their affiliates make money

They also offer commissions ranging from $75 to $350 per sale.

And no, they’re not all web hosting services – we didn’t take the easy way out.

Building an authority site isn’t easy.

We should know—we’ve done it many times and have helped thousands of affiliates do it themselves, too.

So wouldn’t it be great if your site could earn you $100 per sale rather than just a few bucks?

If you choose the right high-ticket affiliate programs, you can earn $1,000 (or even more) in commissions from a single sale.

Of course, those sales are harder to drive.

With the best will in the world, you’re probably never going to refer hundreds of private jet or superyacht leasing customers every month.

But you don’t need to because, with high-ticket affiliate programs, you can conceivably earn a job-replacement income from only a handful of sales.

How to Choose A Niche For Affiliate Marketing

I know what you are probably thinking. You’re probably overwhelmed with the number of niches we presented.

But worry not. I’ll help you narrow the choices to the perfect niche for YOU.

Let’s first start with how large of a niche you should target.

Broad Vs. Narrow Affiliate Niches

Let’s start with a graph showing you the different niche levels in the very competitive finance niche.

niche types

Broad Niches

Broad niches are probably the kind of niches you want to avoid picking.

Why?

Because they’re full of almost impossible to beat competitors. Some of these niches would include:

  • Fitness
  • Tech
  • Finance
  • Travel

These niches have a TON of traffic, but most traffic isn’t looking to buy anything. They’re usually looking for information.

So, if we take the finance niche, for example, people are looking for keywords like “how to calculate my income tax” or “Apple dividend dates.” These queries, while being very competitive, rarely lead to affiliate sales.

This is why we don’t recommend you go for these.

In addition to being unlikely to show up at the top of Google anyway, you’re unlikely to convert your visitors into affiliate sales.

Examples of broad niche sites

If the finance niche was broad, the “retirement planning” niche would be a medium niche.

Medium Niches

It’s a subset of the finance niche, but the intent is much more targeted.

People who visit your site are looking to save money, given that they are retiring in a few decades.

That knowledge is power because you can present your visitors with much more targeted offers for things like IRA accounts rather than generic credit cards, as you would probably have done with a generic finance site.

That means that instead of converting a low number of visitors with your offer, a lot more of them will be interested in the IRA offer you’ll put in front of them.

It will be easier to get traffic, but you will also make more money per visitor.

These niches are ideal if you want to build a full-time income from your website.

Examples of medium niche sites

Micro Niches

Finally, we have micro niches. These niches are usually targeting a single product category.

You may think that this scope is too narrow to make any money, and you couldn’t be more wrong.

Do you remember my retirement example in the previous section? Well, imagine if you had, say, a Gold IRA-specialized website.

Then you don’t just know that people want to save for retirement. You now know they are interested in investing in Gold for their retirements.

Those who do that are usually afraid of economic recession and want to preserve their buying power in case of high inflation.

Knowing this lets you position the perfect offer in front of them and communicate perfectly why they should buy your Gold IRA offer.

This means your conversion rate will be VERY high (and so are the commissions in this niche).

Also, getting traffic is easier when you hyper-specialize because platforms like Google favor topic specialists.

These kinds of niches are ideal for your first sites or if you are specialized in a specific niche.

What Makes a Perfect Affiliate Niche

Are you still hesitating? Well, don’t worry, I got you.

I’ve made you a fancy graph showing exactly what to look for for the perfect affiliate niche for YOU.

Perfect Niche

Evergreen

You want the niche you pick to be evergreen. If it’s not, you will find yourself constantly updating outdated content and will have no time left to sip cocktails on the side of the pool.

It will also be much harder to grow a bigger site because so much time will be spent updating existing pages instead of creating new ones.

Several High Paying Affiliate Offers

It’s great to have one good product to promote; sometimes, it can be enough to make you money.

However, affiliate offers change often, and it’s not uncommon to see drastic commission cuts or even complete program cancellations.

That’s why the perfect niche will have multiple high paying offers with great landing pages, commissions, and cookie duration, ideally hosted on different networks.

High Demand

What’s the point of having great offers if nobody wants them?

Ideally, you will want thousands of monthly searches for the keywords that describe the offer product category.

This tells you that people are looking to buy the product, and you can tap into an existing market.

Low Competition

High demand is nothing if you can’t reach the audience due to an overcrowded market.

That’s why the ideal niche will balance high demand and bearable competition. You don’t want a niche without any competition, as that would probably tell you that there’s no money to be made there, but you want the competition to be around the level of what you can execute.

It’s a tricky balance to find. Low-competition niches usually lack offers or demand, while high-competition niches have good offers and high demand.

So, it’s up to you and your risk tolerance to pick the balance that suits you best.

Passion

Building your affiliate business is likely to take a significant amount of time. So it will be an issue if you can’t stand the niche.

Ideally, you’d like to find a niche that interests you and in which you enjoy creating content. This will make the whole process much more enjoyable and drastically increase your chances of success.

Wrapping It Up

And that brings us to the end of our roundup of niche ideas.

We do our best to avoid publishing long posts just for the sake of it, but we have a whole lot of affiliate marketing niches to share with you.

Thanks to us going all Sherlock Holmes for you, you now have hundreds of profitable programs to choose from.
